Set on the banks of the Old Man River, nestled between wind turbines and sage-brush, Inshala is a gathering of tribespeople from all four directions for one glorious weekend where they gather to celebrate life, and share their stories.

I went to Inshala III on a whim with the intent to share who I am and meet new people.  From the moment I puttered my vehicle past the entry I was surrounded by some of the most accepting loving people you could ever wish to find. There was an itinerary full of activities and workshops, intentional spaces held by conscious individuals, music, laughter and the opportunity to dance right into the night.  The vibe went beyond non-threatening, or inclusion, into what I can only describe as a warm yumminess that pervaded everything that went on there.
Totally kid friendly, low-pressure, and at the same time utterly inspiring.
If you are looking for an intentional scene, with fun, loving, responsible people, I would strongly recommend Inshala.

I have been to Inshala for the last two years. the first year I went alone and felt welcomed into the natural community immediately. I met fellow ecstatic dancers and loved the natural surroundings, camping near the river and with a grassy labrynth to walk through. The workshops were authentic and well attended. The no-alcohol policy was enforced and I enjoyed the clean energy while dancing inside and out of a large geodesic dome.

Last year I invited the gang of spirtual and family friends (a five year old boy and a baby) and the 8 of us enjoyed evening camping, morning dips into the water and peaceful walks around the land. We shared our food, water and our beingness.

I've been to Burning Man the last three years and love it, to Shambala and another local festival and what I enjoy most about Inshala which makes it my favorite, is it's INNOCENCE. And family focus, all are welcome. Its affordable, a great location with earth, water, sky and wind all in abundance. It's quaint and new and untainted and not as many people are attending which is delightful to breathe in.

The music is fantastic, the dance AMAZING, and the vendors friendly and affordable priced and quality workshops. It's an honor to go and to participate in. I've been telling all my friends that if they have never attended a fesitval, this is a great one to be introduced to festival life and and the community created during that weekend.
